Nigel's Black Velvet (Antolakii)
The wildly popular Black Velvet Eastern Panama (BVEP), which was more recently name-changed to Antolakii, is desired for its extreme velvet quality. Its tight sinus & minimal veining contribute to the overall pillowy feel.
Our mother plant is a Round x Felix cross acquired from Granthurium. It is marked by its rosy red emergent which deepens to a dark silky brown. Under the right conditions, the new leaf will expand & harden into a thick, blackish colored masterpiece of perfection.
